There are quite a few important upcoming events for the OTES Community. The days and times for all of these are posted on our school web calendar. Please check this out!

We encourage everyone to take a moment to thank a teacher (past or present).

Our K-Kids have been sponsoring a fund-raising effort for the nation of Japan. So far they have raised over $300!!!

This month’s PTC meeting will be Thursday, April 14, 2011. 6-7p.m. in the OTES Cafeteria.

Thank you to all the parents, students and staff who attended our grades 3-5 Literacy Night. It was a lot of fun for everyone!

And that’s no joke.

We kindly ask parents to help keep our school safe. All parents entering the building should check in with the office. If a parent wishes to speak with a teacher they should have a prior appointment. When entering the learning communities, all non-faculty must have signed in as a visitor and be displaying a visitor badge. Thank you for your cooperation.

Mr. Thurston (or as the kids like to say, Mr. T) has announced his intent to retire at the end of this school year. His love and dedication to the kids of Old Town are no secret. This past week, he completed his last intramural basketball program. Thank you, Mr. T!

We are encouraging parents to register their children for Kindergarten. The sooner we get our student numbers the sooner we can begin planning for next year!
