What amazing work!
As the semester starts to come to a close I’m always impressed with the talent of our students here at OTHS. Many of these pieces have been on display in the halls, but many have been hidden within the walls of the art room. I would like to share them with you all. Many more will follow, but here is a sampling to get you excited!

Take the time this weekend to work on out-of-class assignments, and remember to bring in your black and white homework assignment for Monday and/or Tuesday!

The weekend is almost here, and a nice long weekend at that.
*Reminder to all students that the quarter is moving along quickly and “out of class” assignments need to be turned in by October 30th.
Next week we will post images of amazing charcoal drawings done by Art II in addition to Art 1 Andy Warhol inspired pieces.

After working on Andy Warhol inspired pieces in Art 1, and then beautiful charcoal drawings in Art II, we are off to the races in our AP class period 4. I know that the work load is difficult… but we’re doing out best to keep up.
What a beautiful time of year to get outside and see the wonders our Earth has to offer. Enjoy the beauty of Autumn… paint the leaves colorful, drawing the dreamy night sky, or sculpt the bare trees awaiting the snow.
Get creative… *REMEMBER – “out of class” assignments are due by Oct. 30th!

So here we are, starting the year off with style. What a wonderful way to be able to show off the tremendous talents of our student body. I am so excited to start this blog, for both parents and students to be able to see a sampling of what amazing things are being created here at OTHS.
